Taxiphyllum 'Flame' is a highly decorative aquarium moss named for its distinctive twisted, upright shoots that resemble flickering green flames. Reaching 5 to 15 cm in height, this moss grows slowly and horizontally, making it perfect for hardscape surfaces and creating vertical accents in aquascaping layouts.
Unlike many mosses that spread along surfaces, Flame Moss forms tight upward spirals, adding structure and depth. It is ideal for tying onto stones or driftwood and remains compact even in lower-light aquariums.
As part of Tropica’s 1-2-Grow! line, this plant is cultured in a sterile lab, free from snails, algae, and pesticides, and safe for sensitive shrimp and fish. It comes in a gel medium and is ready to be divided and planted.
