At the heart of the skimmer is the NYOS® hybrid impeller, combining the strengths of brush and lattice impellers. It creates millions of uniform microbubbles thanks to its ultra-lightweight and high-precision construction. The Clear-View Reactor, a transparent and high-volume mixing chamber, allows for optimal water-air blending and easy visual inspection. The saw-blade Twister enhances bubble-water contact time through a vortex effect, maximizing skimming efficiency.
The sinusoidal design eliminates dead zones and promotes smooth bubble ascent. The Quantum 220 includes a zirconium dioxide impeller, grade-2 titanium screws, vibration-damping silicone feet, and a modular structure that can be fully disassembled for deep cleaning. Both air and water flow can be adjusted independently for complete adaptability to individual aquarium setups.
