FLUORITE BLACK 3.5 kg – Natural Black Clay Substrate for Planted Aquariums

Fluorite Black is a premium natural clay substrate in irregular flakes, specifically designed for planted aquariums. Its porous structure promotes excellent water circulation and root aeration, enhancing nutrient uptake and encouraging healthy plant growth. Its deep black color adds a sophisticated aesthetic, beautifully highlighting both plants and fish.

Fluorite Black can be used as a standalone substrate, offering superior performance without the need for additional additives such as laterite or base fertilizers. Unlike other active substrates, it contains no chemical treatments and does not alter aquarium pH, making it safe for all aquatic life.

This long-lasting substrate never needs replacement and remains effective throughout the life of the aquarium. Although pre-washed, a quick rinse is recommended to remove excess dust. Any initial cloudiness in the water is normal and will clear within 2 to 12 hours.

Main features:

  • Natural black clay with irregular porous flakes

  • Excellent for anchoring roots and ensuring nutrient availability

  • Can be used alone or mixed with other substrates

  • Chemically inert, does not affect pH levels

  • No need for replacement – permanent substrate performance

  • Enhances aquascape appearance with a sleek black finish

  • Pre-washed, only requires a light rinse before use
