GREEN CYANO RX – Safe and Effective Treatment for Cyanobacteria in Freshwater Aquariums
Green Cyano Rx is a professional treatment designed to quickly and effectively eliminate cyanobacteria (commonly known as blue-green algae) from rocks, plants, gravel, and sand in freshwater aquariums. Unlike other treatments, it does not discolor the water and, when used as directed, it is completely safe for fish, plants, invertebrates, and beneficial bacteria. Its formulation restores the aquarium’s biological balance and helps prevent future outbreaks.
One container of Green Cyano Rx treats up to 400 gallons (1514 liters), making it ideal even for large aquariums.
Directions for Use:
Siphon out as much visible cyanobacteria as possible from the aquarium.
Remove 1 cup (approx. 240 ml) of tank water and mix 1 level scoop of Green Cyano Rx for every 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of actual tank volume.
Dissolve completely and pour the solution into the aquarium.
Turn off carbon filtration and ozone units during treatment.
Do not dose at night or with lights off.
Once desired results are achieved, perform a 25% water change and resume carbon and ozone use.
If cyanobacteria persist, do another 25% water change and repeat the treatment.
Pro Tips: The best time to treat is in the morning when lights are first turned on. A 25% water change after each treatment is essential to remove residues and maintain water quality.
