Unlike many other products, Red Cyano Rx does not discolor the aquarium water, maintaining clarity throughout the treatment. It is reef safe but may not be compatible with some sponges. Red Cyano Rx is ideal for quickly removing red or slimy cyanobacteria mats that can cover substrates and corals, leading to stress and deterioration of the reef environment.

Directions for use:
Manually remove as much cyanobacteria as possible
Remove one cup of aquarium water
Dissolve 1 level scoop of Red Cyano Rx per 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of tank water
Slowly pour the solution back into the aquarium
After 24 hours, perform a 25% water change
Reactivate the protein skimmer, ozone, and activated carbon
If cyanobacteria persist after 48 hours, repeat the dose with another 25% water change
