EKAI 30 Grey is a stylish and compact 12-litre glass aquarium kit, ideal for beginners or aquarists looking to set up a modern tank in a limited space. Its small footprint (30 x 15 x 26.5 cm) makes it perfect for desktops, shelves, or small rooms, offering convenience and quality in a sleek design.
The tank is made from 3 mm thick glass and features a hinged plastic lid with an openable flap, allowing easy feeding or installation of an automatic feeder. The lid also includes a dedicated slot for a LED lamp (not included, code 311726), providing the option to enhance lighting with a dedicated accessory.
The kit comes with a EKAÏ 200 internal filter, offering a flow rate of 170 L/h and ensuring clean water via two filter media: a mechanical sponge (Ref. 329230) and a chemical carbon cartridge (Ref. 329231). For best performance, the carbon cartridge should be replaced monthly, and the sponge every two months. The filter should run continuously to maintain water quality and system balance.
The EKAI 30 can be transformed into a tropical tank with the addition of a compatible heater (not included), making it suitable for small tropical fish and freshwater invertebrates.
