The EKAI 40 Grey is a sleek and compact 24-litre glass aquarium kit designed to offer a complete and functional solution for beginners and hobbyists alike. With its space-efficient size (40 x 20 x 28 cm), it fits seamlessly into modern interiors, making it ideal for desktops, shelves, or any small space that needs a touch of aquatic life.
Made from 3 mm thick glass, the aquarium features a hinged lid with an easy-access feeding flap, allowing for effortless feeding or installation of an automatic feeder. The lid also includes a designated slot for a LED lamp (not included, lamp code 311728), enabling customizable lighting for your aquatic environment.
The kit includes a EKAÏ 200 adjustable internal filter with a flow rate of 170 L/h, equipped with a mechanical sponge (Ref. 329230) and an activated carbon cartridge (Ref. 329231). This dual-stage filtration ensures both mechanical and chemical purification for clean, healthy water. The filter must run continuously and the carbon cartridge should be replaced monthly, while the sponge should be replaced every two months.
By adding a compatible heater (not included), the EKAI 40 can easily be converted into a tropical tank, suitable for small tropical fish and invertebrates.
