As the upgraded successor of the already high-performing Professionel 3 series, it incorporates several technological improvements to offer premium filtration performance, energy efficiency, and minimal maintenance requirements for both freshwater and marine tanks.
With a flow rate of approximately 1250 L/h and a modest energy consumption of only 16 watts, this filter ensures optimal circulation and filtration, even in densely stocked setups. It offers a generous 6.5-liter filter volume, a 0.5-liter pre-filter, and a spacious 9.2-liter media basket, delivering outstanding mechanical and biological filtration capacity.
One of its most notable features is the Xtender function, which redirects water flow in case of partial clogging in the filter media. This maintains biological filtration activity and allows you to delay maintenance by a few days without compromising water quality.
The filter also includes signature features from the 4+ series: square-shaped basket for extra stability and volume, a quick self-priming system, secure hose adapter with shut-off mechanism, top-mounted coarse prefilter, and a ceramic shaft for silent, long-lasting operation.
