NOPO Control 473ml is a high-performance liquid additive designed to promote safe and efficient biodegradation of nitrate (NO₃⁻) and phosphate (PO₄³⁻) in all types of aquariums, both freshwater and saltwater. Formulated with selected hydrocarbons, NOPO Control enhances the performance of naturally occurring bacteria, allowing for effective nutrient reduction even in tanks with high organic load.
Rather than acting as a chemical adsorbent, NOPO Control works biologically to improve the aquarium’s microbial balance, leading to a more stable and healthy ecosystem. It is especially beneficial in systems with heavy feeding, overstocked tanks, or limited filtration capacity. For optimal results, it is recommended to use NOPO Control in conjunction with Special Blend, with a minimum 48-hour interval between applications to avoid bacterial competition.
Important: Phosphate is a necessary energy source for corals, plants, and bacteria. Ensure phosphate levels do not reach zero, and consider using a UV-C sterilizer if bacterial blooms occur.
