CDX0 Carbon Dioxide 750ml is a high-efficiency CO₂ adsorbent designed to eliminate carbon dioxide from the air entering your protein skimmer, helping to increase and stabilize aquarium pH. In enclosed or poorly ventilated indoor spaces, ambient CO₂ levels can rise and negatively affect aquarium pH, stressing corals and marine life. CDX0 provides a safe and effective solution to this issue.
Used with the PhosBan reactor and connected to the air intake of the protein skimmer via a tube and the CDX adapter, this media filters CO₂ out of the air before it enters the skimmer. The resulting CO₂-free air promotes the outgassing of dissolved CO₂ from the water, naturally raising and stabilizing the pH.
