BIONITRATEX 240g – Biological Filter Media for Nitrate Removal in Freshwater and Marine Aquariums

Bionitratex 240g is an advanced biological filter media designed to effectively reduce nitrates (NO₃) in both freshwater and marine aquariums. The innovative system uses beneficial denitrifying bacteria that colonize the biospheres, forming a thick biofilm. Beneath this biofilm, an oxygen-depleted zone forms, prompting the bacteria to extract oxygen from nitrates, converting them into harmless nitrogen gas.

Beyond nitrate removal, Bionitratex also helps stabilize aquarium water. As bacteria break down organic compounds, acids are produced that could lower pH. The bio spheres are enriched with buffering minerals that neutralize these acids, helping maintain optimal water conditions.

Ideal for nitrate-prone tanks, Bionitratex improves water quality and prevents unwanted algae growth, supporting healthier fish and plants or corals.

Key features: • Biological filter media for natural nitrate reduction
• Biospheres host denitrifying bacteria for efficient nitrate breakdown
• Oxygen-depleted zones promote nitrate use as an oxygen source
• Buffering minerals stabilize pH by neutralizing acids
• Long-lasting: replace every 6 months depending on usage
• Suitable for internal and external filters
• 100 biospheres per pack, suitable for 200–300 liters (1 sphere per 2–3 liters of water)

Why choose Bionitratex 240g – Natural Nitrate Filter:
A reliable and effective biological solution for controlling nitrate levels and maintaining water stability in freshwater or marine aquariums.
