The hinged plastic lid includes a flip-top hatch for easy feeding or automatic feeder installation, and is LED-ready to fit the EKAI LED lamp (not included, code 311728), allowing custom lighting based on aquarium needs. The included CASCADE 30 internal filter delivers adjustable flow up to 180 L/h and features mechanical sponge and activated carbon filtration for clean, healthy water.
EKAI 40 Pink is also compatible with aquarium heaters (not included), making it suitable for tropical fish and invertebrates. For optimal performance, the carbon cartridge should be replaced monthly and the sponge every two months. The filter must run continuously to maintain biological balance.
