ATI Essentials Mixed Reef 1 2.7 liters is a highly concentrated and balanced solution designed to support coral growth, health and coloration in mixed reef aquariums. The Mixed Reef formula is ideal for systems with high fish load and for tanks dominated by soft corals, LPS and hardy species that require stable and consistent water chemistry. As part of a two part system, Essentials Mixed Reef maintains alkalinity, calcium and essential trace elements at optimal levels, offering a simple and efficient alternative to traditional Balling methods.
ATI Essentials Mixed Reef 1 is the KH Complex component, containing both organic and inorganic sources of alkalinity to stabilize carbonate hardness and support coral calcification. One of the main advantages of this formula is its ability to help reduce unwanted nutrients such as nitrate and phosphate, promoting cleaner chemistry and improved long term stability.
The solution includes major elements such as fluoride and sulfur, along with essential trace elements like iron, iodine and selenium, which play a key role in coral pigmentation, metabolic balance and overall vitality. Solutions 1 and 2 are balanced to be dosed in equal amounts, simplifying daily management and ensuring precise supplementation.
The 2.7 liter format provides excellent autonomy even for large reef systems, while the concentration is approximately five times stronger than classic Balling, allowing for reduced dosing volume and greater efficiency.

Dosage guidelines:
Recommended dose: 3–7 ml per 100 L daily for each solution.
KH Complex (solution 1):
Consumption 0.1 dKH → 0.7 ml/100 L
Consumption 0.5 dKH → 3.5 ml/100 L
Consumption 1.0 dKH → 7.0 ml/100 L
Calcium Complex (solution 2):
Consumption 1 mg/L Ca → 1 ml/100 L
Consumption 2.5 mg/L Ca → 2.5 ml/100 L
Consumption 5 mg/L Ca → 5 ml/100 L
Measure alkalinity and calcium regularly to determine actual tank consumption and adjust the dosage accordingly.
