ATI Essentials SPS 1 2700 ml is an extremely concentrated and balanced KH Complex solution designed to ensure pH stability, healthy growth and intense coloration in SPS dominated reef aquariums. Developed and refined using thousands of ICP analyses, its composition delivers all essential major elements and trace elements needed to maintain a chemically stable environment for sensitive SPS corals.
SPS 1 represents the alkalinity component of the ATI Essentials SPS two part system, formulated specifically for SPS corals requiring elevated alkalinity and stable pH to support rapid calcification, metabolic efficiency and natural pigmentation. The fully inorganic alkalinity source helps maintain a higher pH compared to conventional systems, a critical factor for optimal SPS performance.
The formula contains major elements such as boron, bromine, calcium, fluoride, potassium, magnesium, sulfur and strontium, along with essential trace elements including iron, iodine, manganese, cobalt, lithium, molybdenum, nickel, rubidium, selenium, vanadium and zinc. All components are precisely balanced to avoid unwanted accumulation, providing complete and long term safe supplementation. With a concentration about 3.6 times stronger than classic Balling, the product ensures efficient dosing with reduced daily volumes.
ATI Essentials SPS is designed for equal dosing between part 1 and part 2, ensuring perfect ionic balance and preventing chemical shifts. The 2700 ml format offers excellent durability and is ideal for medium to large SPS reef tanks with high consumption of KH and calcium.

Dosage guidelines:
Recommended dose: 5–10 ml per 100 L daily for each component.
For KH Complex (SPS 1):
0.1 dKH consumption → 1 ml/100 L
0.5 dKH → 5 ml/100 L
1 dKH → 10 ml/100 L
For Calcium Complex (SPS 2):
1 mg/L Ca → 1.4 ml/100 L
2.5 mg/L Ca → 3.5 ml/100 L
5 mg/L Ca → 7 ml/100 L
10 mg/L Ca → 14 ml/100 L
Daily measurement of alkalinity and calcium is recommended to fine tune dosage according to actual reef consumption.
