BACOPA CAROLINIANA – Hardy and Easy Aquarium Plant, Ideal for Beginners

Bacopa caroliniana is a stem plant native to the United States, long appreciated in the aquascaping world for its durability, neat growth, and vibrant green foliage. It reaches a height of 10–30 cm and a width of 3–4 cm, making it perfect for midground or background placement. Its thick green leaves may turn slightly reddish under high light. This species grows slowly and requires only moderate light, making it one of the few plants that demand little attention and minimal trimming.

Best planted in small groups for visual density, Bacopa caroliniana propagates easily by cutting and replanting lateral shoots. It’s safe for shrimp tanks and performs well in community aquariums or planted tanks with low maintenance.
