The GHL KH Director Black is a high-end device designed to automatically monitor, control, and stabilize alkalinity (KH) in reef aquariums. Engineered for precision and automation, this unit is essential for coral health and growth, enabling consistent KH levels. The device operates in conjunction with the GHL Doser 2.1 Stand Alone or a ProfiLux controller (3 or 4 series) and a dosing slave unit.
The KH Director works by sampling water from the aquarium, gradually adding a reagent, and using a high-precision pH electrode to determine KH levels. After the test, the sample water is expelled. Three dosing pumps precisely manage the intake, reagent addition, and disposal of the water, allowing up to 24 fully automated tests per day with optional corrective dosing.
