HI736 PHOSPHORUS TEST – Ultra Low Range Checker for Marine Water

The HI736 Phosphorus Checker by Hanna Instruments is a portable colorimetric photometer designed to measure phosphorus in ultra low range levels, making it ideal for marine aquariums and sensitive aquatic systems. It bridges the gap between basic chemical kits and professional lab-grade equipment.

With a 1 ppb resolution and ±5 ppb ±5% accuracy, this device uses an LED light source at 525 nm and a silicon photodetector to provide lab-quality precision in a handheld format. It applies the standard method based on ascorbic acid, as outlined in the “Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater”.

Operation is simple, fast, and user-friendly thanks to the single-button interface and automatic shutdown. Compact and lightweight, the HI736 is perfect for field and at-home testing.

Why choose HI736:
Phosphorus, even in ultra low concentrations, can lead to algae blooms and disrupt marine ecosystem balance. The HI736 allows high-sensitivity monitoring, making it a must-have for reef keepers and professionals aiming for pristine water quality.
