Soil Nero 1-4mm – 8 Liters is a high-quality active substrate specially formulated to provide optimal growth conditions for aquatic plants and to create a natural, stable environment for shrimp and fish that prefer soft, slightly acidic water, such as Caridina Red Crystal and Red Bee. Made from 100% natural earth and highly fertile volcanic soil, it delivers essential minerals and trace elements plants need daily.
With its 1 to 4 mm grain size, this soil ensures strong root development and allows for proper water flow within the substrate, turning it into an active biological filter. Its porous structure supports the growth of beneficial bacteria and enhances the tank’s biological stability. The deep black coloration highlights plant greenery and shrimp colors, adding a natural, elegant aesthetic to the aquascape.
Soil Nero features ion-exchange capabilities that naturally stabilize pH levels around 6.0–6.5 and reduce carbonate hardness to KH 0–2.
