Calcium is vital for coral skeleton development (SPS and LPS), as well as the health of other marine invertebrates like clams and calcareous algae. CALCIUM+ offers superior solubility and flexibility, allowing it to be dosed either as a pre-mixed liquid solution or directly into the sump. With high concentration and precision, it is ideal for demanding reef systems and aquariums with fluctuating calcium consumption.
Recommended usage:
Pre-mixed solution (recommended):
Dissolve 1000g of CALCIUM+ in 2000 ml of RO water. The solution will contain approximately 135,000 mg/l (ppm) of calcium.
7.4 ml of this solution raises calcium by 10 mg/l in 1000 liters of water.
Refer to the dosing table for specific adjustments based on tank volume and target increase.
Direct dosing:
37.5g of CALCIUM+ increases calcium by 10 mg/l (ppm) in 1000 liters of water.
Can be dosed directly into the sump or pre-diluted in tank water.
Calcium levels should be measured regularly and maintained within the optimal range of 380–450 mg/l for stable and healthy coral growth.
