Made from 100% fired ceramic, each block offers over 23,000 square feet of surface area for the formation of beneficial bacterial colonies that efficiently reduce phosphates, nitrates, and organic waste.

Usage Instructions – Genesis Rock Installation:
Rinse thoroughly with tank or purified water
Soak blocks in aquarium water and add Genesis Bacteria NOT INCLUDED (1 drop per 20 gallons)
Let soak for 12+ hours, then place in the aquarium
If not using bacteria, rinse and place directly
Placement Options:
Aerobic (ammonia/nitrite): High-flow, oxygen-rich areas above water level
Anaerobic (nitrates): Low-flow, oxygen-poor zones under sand or in sump
Combined: Medium-flow areas allow aerobic growth outside and anaerobic inside
