The plant forms a dense, grass-like carpet with thin, flexible leaves, offering a natural and elegant look. It grows to a height of 6–15 cm, depending on lighting and trimming. Once planted, Eleocharis acicularis quickly spreads its roots throughout the substrate, establishing a lush green carpet. It can be trimmed easily to maintain a desired height without harming the plant.
