OCTO CO2 SCRUBBER – Compact CO₂ Reactor for pH Stabilization and Coral Growth in Marine Aquariums
The Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber is a compact, high-performance reactor designed to remove excess dissolved carbon dioxide from marine aquarium water, helping to stabilize pH and promote optimal coral growth. When connected to the air intake of your protein skimmer, it serves as a powerful solution to combat chronically low pH levels and maintain ideal conditions for reef inhabitants.
For healthy coral development, reef tanks should maintain a pH of around 8.3. In many home aquariums, elevated CO₂ levels can push pH down. The OCTO CO2 Scrubber actively removes CO₂, improving water chemistry and creating a more stable and supportive environment for fish, invertebrates, and corals.
Built from durable acrylic, it features dual valve-controlled outlets, optional recirculation setup, and a space-saving footprint—ideal for cabinet installation. It includes quick-connect fittings for both inlet and outlet, with a reactor capacity of 1 liter. CO₂ absorbent media is required but not included.
