BACOPA CAROLINIANA – Classic Stem Plant, Slow Growth with Rich Natural Colors
Bacopa caroliniana is one of the most classic and beloved stem plants in aquascaping. Native to America, it grows slowly and displays beautiful brownish hues under strong lighting. When emersed, the plant is bright green with visibly hairy stems. These features make it an excellent decorative choice for both nature-style tanks and structured layouts.
It can grow up to 40 cm tall and works best as a background plant, especially when planted in dense groups with staggered stem heights toward the back of the tank. Propagation is easy via head cuttings or side shoots. The plant tolerates a wide range of water hardness and pH while remaining healthy and vibrant.
Sturdy, attractive, and adaptable, Bacopa caroliniana adds visual depth and structure to the aquascape, with color variations depending on light intensity.
Main features:
• Genus: Bacopa
