HYGROPHILA CORYMBOSA 'STRICTA' is a hardy and decorative aquarium plant from Southeast Asia, known for its long, narrow, light green leaves. Best suited for the background area of large aquariums, it can grow quite tall and thrives in open tanks where its shoots can reach above the water surface. It differs from other varieties by having greater leaf spacing, and its emersed leaves turn a rich dark green.
Optimal growth is achieved with strong lighting and CO2 supplementation. Ideal for aquariums over 100 cm, it looks best when planted in dense groups of 10–15 stems. It propagates easily via head cuttings or side shoots.
