HYGROPHILA POLYSPERMA 'SUNSET' is a fast-growing aquarium stem plant, ideal for midground and background placement. This striking cultivar displays bright yellow-white veined leaves when emersed and vivid shades of pink to reddish-pink when submerged. Strong lighting and iron-rich fertilizers help intensify its beautiful coloration.
Unlike most colorful stem plants, 'Sunset' is very easy to maintain, making it ideal even for beginner aquascapers. Its relatively small leaves (up to 4 cm) make it well-suited for Nano Cubes and smaller tanks. It grows best with 10–20 mg/l of CO₂ and temperatures between 22 and 28 °C.
