Originating from South America, this plant grows up to 30 cm tall and differs from other Myriophyllum species by its slower growth rate and smaller final size, making it a perfect fit for midground planting or small background zones.
Its finely feathered leaves give a soft, natural appearance and blend beautifully in nature-style or Dutch-style aquascapes. When planted behind red-leaved species, it offers a striking contrast. While it doesn’t demand intense care, liquid fertilization and moderate CO₂ supplementation greatly enhance its vitality and color.
