HEMIANTHUS MICRANTHEMOIDES – Miniature Stem Plant 1-2-Grow! for Aquarium Foreground and Middleground
Hemianthus micranthemoides, native to North America, is a highly valued aquarium plant known for its delicate, arching small leaves, giving it the appearance of a miniature version of Egeria. This species is ideal for both the foreground and middleground, thanks to its compact and tidy growth, with stems reaching 10–20 cm in height and 2–3 cm in width. Under strong lighting, Hemianthus micranthemoides develops a beautiful, elegant final growth form, creating dense and bright light green groups.
In emersed conditions or terrariums, this plant forms compact and tidy cushions. Previously known as Micranthemum micranthemoides, it has become a popular choice among aquascapers aiming to create refined and natural landscapes. The 1-2-Grow! version from Tropica guarantees in vitro cultivated plants, free from snails, algae, and pesticides, completely safe for sensitive shrimp and ornamental fish.
