Rotala rotundifolia 'H’ra' is a vibrant and relatively easy-to-grow red stem plant from Southeast Asia. Despite its name, which means “round-leaved,” the submerged version displays slender, narrow leaves that turn orange-red to copper under intense light. This makes it a striking midground or background plant in planted aquariums.
Reaching 15–30 cm in height, this variety produces many side shoots, resulting in a bushy, compact form. For best visual results and healthy lower growth, it should be trimmed frequently to allow sufficient light penetration.
