VESICULARIA MONTAGNEI "CHRISTMAS" – ORNAMENTAL AQUARIUM MOSS
Vesicularia montagnei, known as "Christmas tree moss," is a specialty moss originating from Brazil. It stands out from common Vesicularia dubyana due to its unique lateral branch structure resembling fir tree branches, offering an elegant decorative look. This moss grows slowly and is more demanding than classic Java moss, but easily attaches to roots and stones, making it ideal for creating natural aquarium settings. Regular trimming is needed to maintain its compact shape. It is often paired with plants like Taxiphyllum barbieri.
