Bucephalandra sp. 'Maia' is a compact and decorative epiphyte from the tropical riverbanks of Southeast Asia. With its slightly rounded, dark green leaves measuring 2–4 cm wide and 4–6 cm long, this plant adds a refined, natural look to foreground or midground areas in the aquascape.
Like all Bucephalandra species, 'Maia' must be attached to rocks or driftwood, and the rhizome must stay above the substrate to prevent rot. Its slow, controlled growth and low light requirements make it ideal for low-maintenance setups and aquariums with shrimp or delicate fish.
