APT Feast is a high-performance organic substrate designed for lush and long-lasting planted aquariums. Its advanced composition provides a high concentration of natural organic nutrients and more than twice the Nitrogen (N) found in traditional aquasoils, supplying plants with an important source of nutrition for healthy and vigorous growth.

The substrate provides complete root nutrition for up to 12 months, reducing the need for additional root fertilizers. APT Start is not required during the initial setup, as APT Feast provides a fertile and stable foundation for starting the aquarium.

APT Feast promotes vigorous growth, intense plant coloration and the development of a rich microflora, supporting biological stability within the aquarium. It is particularly suitable for complex layouts, aquascaping and demanding aquatic plants.

WARM START METHOD:

Spread APT Feast across the bottom of the aquarium.
Add rocks and wood, then fill the aquarium with water.
Start the filter but keep the lights switched off.
Add starter bacteria and/or filter media from a mature aquarium.
Set the water temperature to approximately 29 °C.
Keep the aquarium in Dark Start for approximately 14 days without lighting.
After 14 days, perform a complete 100% water change and add hardy plants.
Start liquid fertilization with the APT range from the first day after planting.

Avoid adding delicate plants or Bucephalandra during the first two weeks.

During the two weeks following the initial planting, perform an 80% water change once per week. From the fourth week onwards, slow-growing plants, more delicate species, in-vitro cultures, fish and shrimp can be gradually introduced.
