ROTALA SP. NANJENSHAN – Delicate and Rare In Vitro Aquarium Plant from Taiwan

Rotala sp. Nanjenshan is a refined and rare aquarium plant, originating exclusively from a small area near the city of Nanjenshan in Taiwan. Likely a natural hybrid between Rotala roundleaf and Rotala wallichii, this variety stands out with its bright green, delicate stems, resembling Rotala wallichii but in green. Perfect for the aquarium’s background (third layer), Rotala Nanjenshan grows quickly, reaching up to 50 cm and forming a uniform, elegant cluster of mature plants. The in vitro cultivation ensures plants are free of snails, algae, and pests, ready for safe and rapid introduction into the aquarium. For optimal growth, moderate lighting and CO₂ supply are recommended, while planting involves dividing the plant into small 1-2 cm tufts and spacing them closely in the substrate.
