ROTALA ROTUNDIFOLIA GREEN – Fast-Growing In Vitro Aquarium Plant with Bright Green Color

Rotala rotundifolia Green is a beautiful aquarium plant from Asia, very similar to the classic Rotala rotundifolia but distinguished by its bright green leaves, which stay vibrant even under strong lighting without turning red. Its slender stems grow 15-30 cm tall, with an overall width of 2-3 cm, making it perfect for the aquarium background (third layer). Rotala Green is relatively undemanding and suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists, though it still requires good lighting and strong CO₂ supply for optimal growth. It readily produces many side shoots, becoming compact and bushy, but needs regular trimming to maintain its shape and allow light to reach the lower leaves.

The plant is grown in vitro, free from snails, pests, and algae, ensuring a safe and healthy introduction into the aquarium. Before planting, carefully rinse off the gel under running water, divide the plant into small 1-2 cm clumps, and use tweezers to place them into the substrate at short distances.
